Hello, and welcome! Soulful Festivity is my way of exploring identity, culture, and connection. Growing up, I was born in Ethiopia and adopted by an Asian-Cuban family when I was about 5-6 years old. While I’m grateful for the opportunities I’ve had in New York City, I’ve often felt a sense of disconnection—from my culture, ancestors, and roots.

My relationship with my body, skin, features, and hair has been a journey of growth and self-discovery. In high school, being surrounded by more people who looked like me allowed me to embrace these aspects of myself. Building relationships with individuals who saw me—through all my strengths and flaws—has shaped my evolution. Yet, the question of where “home” is remains. The closest I feel to home is when I’m immersed in nature, perhaps because I was born in it.

Soulful Festivity is a space for People of Color to explore spirituality, connect with one another, and build meaningful relationships. Through events and conversations, we foster a community where diverse perspectives are celebrated. Together, we grow, discover passions, and create a sense of belonging.

This is more than a brand—it’s a journey of reconnection and shared discovery. I invite you to join this community and find your home within yourself, others, and the beauty of nature.

My Approach

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Dream it

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest.

Build it

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
